Our most recent acquisitions of McNabb and Livingston (pick up from SJ), are on the roster. However, our Cali Kid, Jonathan Parker is on the Ontario Reign. Almost forgot, Crescensi, who we picked up for Kozun, short time ago, is also on the Manchester roster as well.

Edit: add 6'4 Steve Quailer to the list. He was acquired for Czarnik back in Feb.

I know we lost a pretty big kid in Des, but Livingston 6'1, McNabb 6'4 and Crescensi 6'5, not a bad return.

I don't know what the starting lineup will be like (maybe someone from Manch can chime in), but I'm expecting to see McNabb.

Enjoy!

Go Narchs!!!

Your man crush on McNabb is reaching the level of mine with Karlsson and K17 with Lombardi.

I hope he works out better than Moreau and Matt Frattin :)

My guy produced a Stanley Cup. :yo:

You guys that were late to the party will not be ascending to the highest level of hockey heaven until you do whatever penance Dean prescribes. :naughty:

McNabb looked kinda bad on that one shift he left his position to follow a player that resulted in a half breakaway from the position he just vacated that was stopped by Berube who made a nice save

2-0 another goal by O'Neil asst Weal.

I'm really enjoying watching Weal play

I don't care how small Weal is, I really hope he gets a shot here. It doesn't look promising with Shore and maybe even Vey ahead of him, but Weal can do things that those guys can't.

McNabb is the poo, take a whif!

I am a big McNabb fan too. I can't believe we have him in the fold. I think you will like him a bunch once he gets his feet wet with us. He goes beast mode and hits like a mule. Kid can skate too for his size. I wanted us to draft him and am happy he is a kind. A full level of talent over Forbort and worlds better than Ellerby was at the same point in their respective careers.

Nice shot!

So mcnabb is viewed as a d first d man just on size? Judging by stats he seems offensively gifted with a nasty streak, if he can harness all his tools do you see him as an 2 way all around d man? Top 4? Also, 2 assists not a bad debut, atleast offensively.

He plays a solid two way game and his shot is one of the hardest I have seen in a big guy. He can throw rockets at the net no doubt. I see him as more of an SAH when he transitions to the NHL full time. I also see him as a second unit PP QB in a year or so.

In the AHL he can put up the points but I am not sure if all of his O skills will translate to the NHL game.

Could be but time will tell.

Sheldon Souray 2.0?

Sheldon Souray 2.0?

With a better mean streak and an even harder shot but not a terrible comparison. It's tough because McNabb has an urgency to his game when he is on it that is a combination of youthful exuberance and rage that I haven't seen in Sheldon. But they make for a fair comparison other than that. I hate to say and will wash out my mouth afterwards but he has a little Pronger to his game when he is feeling it.

Today he is capable of two different styles of play. One is a beast SAHD who can be one tough S.O.B. to try and get position on anywhere on the ice and then he is also capable of being a middle of the road two way Dman with an active stick. It's what he brings to the NHL that will determine which player he becomes like most kids I guess.

I am a huge fan of this kid and I guess the main reason is that even when he is just playing at an average pace he is still a solid stay at home dman who will give you a smart and honest effort in every zone and when he brings it up a notch he can be a dominant force that you want to have on the ice.

He is everything we hope that Forbort can become and he is just about ready.
