He is without a doubt the best player in the NHL. Really weird thread after he just finished winning the Conn Smythe and broke playoff records…

After a slow start and a few missed games due to injury, he has also scored 17 points in his last 9 games, so it's weird timing in-season as well.

Kucherov since 2023/2024 to today
57G + 125A = 182 pts in 105 gakes or 1.73 ppg (142 pts per 82)
Mcdavid in the playoffs last year was significantly ahead of Mack or Kucherov.
Reg season wise the three are super close the last 100-110 games

He played a lot of hockey last year, and his eyes are on the cup. He probably doesn't feel the need to chase scoring titles at this point.
