I just noticed SRF hadn't started in a while down in Lansing. He's on the 7 day DL. Not sure why. Hopefully it's minor.

Not sure why Blue Jay fans(at least on here) have such a problem with casuals. If you purchased a ticket, you have the right to do pretty much whatever you want as long as it doesn't interfere with the play on the field. I mean, who cares how people express themselves, honestly.

Hell, I'm fairly casual myself, and don't follow baseball or the Jays near as much as I did in the early-mid 2000's. I'm just part of the "cesspool" to the Blue Jay elitist though. It's quite frankly, arrogant to think you're a better fan than someone.

You mean, April isn't the entire baseball season?

Tonight was like they turned back the clock to last season. Let's hope that was the breakout game that will finally get this lineup going.

Who would have thought that Happ's numbers would put Price's numbers to shame after this many starts. He's been remarkably consistent.

All of the starters, with the exception of Dickey who always starts slow, have been great. The Happ signing is looking genius right now

And I don't get the "it's only April/May" or "April isn't the entire baseball season?" - if you dig yourself enough of a hole early, it can be hard to catch up, regardless of how many games are left. Lots of things can happen too, including injuries to key players

I'm pretty cheesed Kershaw got moved to Saturday since I'm going to the game Sunday. Oh well, I guess I'll have to dry my tears with my free Martin jersey. ;)

No one has said there's no situation in which you should be concerned this early. The point of that whole conversation is that the Jays were never in a position where they dug themselves a hole big enough that they couldn't get out of, yet a lot of people were talking as if they had.

At their worst, they were four games out of the division lead, three games out of the Wild Card, and three games under .500 with 130+ games to go. That's nowhere remotely close to the time to panic, and it's certainly not the time to be considering what kind of return you'll get for Bautista/Edwin at the deadline.

There were some overreacting for sure, but there were, and still are to some extent, some troubling signs
Anyway, hopefully they can string some wins together so that hitting a rough patch later, won't be as worrisome
