GDT: Maybe? Caps @ isles 12:30pm edit: yes!!! All due respect to The Great One, but The Great 8 stands alone atop the mountain

It’s not a problem per se but I think most would agree it’s a bizarre ‘double down’ move for a guy facing widespread backlash in his home country for supporting a hostile foreign administration. Just a needlessly inflammatory thing to do.

IMO Gretzky isn’t pumped about his record being broken and this is his passive-aggressive way of lashing out

Agree with your first paragraph...the issue isn't some rando taking in a game...it's who's there, in what capacity, and how did he get there.

My guess is Kash probably pulled strings on Gretzky instead of the other way around, though.

Can we embrace reality? They're going to be phoning it in until the record is broken.

This team was not even supposed to make the playoffs, nevermind contending for the President's Trophy.

Guys are having career years in scoring. We locked up some major parts of the defense and netminding puzzle.

f***ing CHILL.
I’m very zen at the moment. I just want to see focus on their game before the playoffs start. I don’t think that is nuts.

If we go out in R1 in PO the Ovi haters will be very happy and will continue to talk about that Caps sacrificed everything for Ovi this season bla bla bla..

I can see him lashing out in a passive-aggressive manner, but I don’t think it has anything to do with Ovi breaking his record. I think Gretzky might be pissed at Canadian fans for what’s been happening recently, such as people defecating on his statue in Edmonton.
