It's interesting, those 3 together are like anti-the rest of the Caps.

In 110 minutes together 5 on 5, They've got a -1 goal differential (3 GF vs 4 GA), though their Expected numbers are dominantly in the For column. 21 high danger changes for, with only 1 goal scored, vs only 9 HDC against, also with 1 goal. The biggest thing is the on-ice shooting percentage when those 3 guys are together is 5.77%, with on-ice save percentage as .871. Results in a PDO of .929. (Though I don't give much credence to PDO or Expected numbers.)

So basically, they control play well, but can't finish.
