Well, I hope Denmark gets that 3rd win at the Worlds against the US. :amazed: The US must still be shell-shocked from their loss against Belarus yesterday, and the Danes should try and capitalize on that. :handclap:

Crazy to think that right now the QF match-ups right now would be (Canada-USA) (Sweden-Russia) (Finland-Switzerland) (Belarus-Czech Republic) Wow!

I hope the U.S. gets back on the rails here. We still have aspirations for an all N. American final.

Those aren't going to be QF match-ups and the current standings don't really tell much, because some teams have mainly faced 2nd tier nations and hockey minnows, while others have only faced the top teams.

You never know. Such weird matchups have happened before when a supposedly strong team had a crisis. Let me only mention Sweden at the Olympics in Torino where they intentionally lost the game with Slovakia just so they could play Switzerland in the quarterfinals, who were unexpectedly strong in the other group, but the Swedes "selected" them as their opponents because they thought they could handle them, and they did.

Latvia led their group after the first few rounds last year as well, if I'm not mistaken. So what? We didn't even make the play-offs.

It's absolutely pointless to look at the rankings right now to try to gauge the possible play-off match-ups. The only thing we know is that Canada and Sweden will probably take the top 2 spots in Group A. Everything else is up for grabs, as there are 24 more games to be played in the group stage.

Sebastian Dahm in net for Denmark

Oliver Bjorkstrand was with Patrick Bjorkstrand and Jesper Jensen at practice. Frederik Strom on the third line with Thomas Spelling and Morten Green. Morten Poulsen playing with a injured hand or wrist. Didn't quite catch that. Kim Staal and Mathias Bau Hansen 13th and 14th forwards.

Daniel Nielsen and Jesper B. Jensen is back on the blue line knocking Bjørn Uldall down to #7 and Nicholas B. Jensen to #8.

And could Denmark just get this game over with :( Then our WC can begin...

Prediction: Eichel has his best game, gets atleast two points. Have a feeling hes gonna be super confident.

Result not so important...just need to see us being dangerous and fighting. norway and Slovenia is all that matters.
Looking forward to see oliver bjorkstrand

Denmark trying to be conservative in their transition. Doing okay in their own zone. Clearly haven't talked about what to do when we have the puck
