This was between Hanas and Buium for me. I think/hope James will be in the top 10 conversation after his next college season.

Buchelnikov needs to show me something at the KHL/AHL level first for me to really buy in. I think he is still physically really underdeveloped. Although I really like the tools and the shot with him.

Of the remaining Hanas is the "safest" pick to make the NHL, but Buch is the home-run swing, so I'll take Buch.

I really like Buchelnikov. I had him higher. I think he has the skills needed and he is clearly still just a kid. I think (based off nothing except my eyeballs) that he has the most growth and maturing still to come of all our prospects. He sure looks young for his age. I hope I'm right because I really want this kid to pan out. This is the type of prospect Detroit desperately needs right now.

Unless the Wings negotiate his contract with his team. He signed until 2024/25 in the KHL per elite prospects.

EDIT: Washington got Miroshnichenko out of his contract I believe.
He is sooo not ready, he is not even going to play for CKA next season. Buchelnikov potential is top six, but about 3 years away from NHL

Same, same, same and same for all 4 players mentioned.

I went with Boomer again, by a hair. Hanas did much better than I thought he would last year. James is the player I'm tempted to bump higher than most. He had a disappointing season at NoDak...so did everyone. He really came on and showed some promise at the end of the year.
