A win for Kaz would be huge, not that it will happen as I've lost all confidence in this team, but let me dream.

Go Switzerland, 3 points would not only be a last little chance at the QF's, but also vital to avoid relegation.

Because Belarus beat Germany, Switzerland will not play in qf.
Erm, Belarus can still lose to Latvia and Russia. They will only have 9 points if that happens.

Switzerland can still grab 6 points and end up with 10 points in the end, which means they still technically can make the QFs, as long as either USA or Finland don't get any more than 1 points in their remaining 2 matches + Germany doesn't get 5+ points + Belarus doesn't get any points vs. Russia.

A lot of variables, but still possible, unless I've made a mistake there somewhere.

Tomorrow is Finland-USA. So what I said is right.
And one of those teams is going to lose. So what you said is not true.

Also - rooting for a Swiss win in OT. That way they will have guaranteed a spot in the Elite tier and lost any chances of making the play-offs as well when they meet us in their last game. :)

Fiala was really impressive vs Finland.

Exciting prospect.

I don't see Finland losing Kazakstan or USA losing to Germany. But maybe it is still possible but not likely.
I'm hoping the Finnish and American players think the same way you do.

Germany can easily beat USA and Kazakhstan can beat Finland.

That is totally bs. It's not easy. But either can't go to the game thinking it is easy.
How many games have you actually watched?

How many players can you name from the Kazakh line-up?

USA has been absolutely underwhelming in most of their games. Sloppy, unmotivated. Abysmal goaltending. They've also lost one of their best D-men in Trouba now.

14 group B games and 1-2 group A games. Every day I have watched 2 games. Today Belarus-Germany and Russia-Latvia. I have watched many USA games and I know USA has played bad. I still think they can beat Finland and Germany. They have the potential. They just need to show it.

And I can't name any Kazakh player.. I know they have some good players but I still believe in our guys. They can't lose to Kazakstan..

I'm not saying the Americans can't beat Germany, I'm saying that them losing wouldn't even be considered an upset at this point. They can realistically lose. Which means that there's a genuine chance that they might end up with 1 or no points in their remaining 2 matches, which in turn means that the Swiss still have a chance.

As for Kazakhstan, the bulk of their line-up is playing together in Astana Baris in the KHL. They were one of the leading KHL teams this regular season.

lol, what a goal. weak play by the defender, even weaker play by the goalie...

this goalie must have truly weird shaped legs. The biggest five-hole I´ve ever seen in professional hockey:laugh:

this ref is unvelievable. second time he calls the penalty even though no player of Kazachstan had the puck under control...
