they get what they deserve, imho. instead of granting belarusian citizenship to platt's and lalandes they should have raised their own hockey players. :rant:

I can understand having Platt on the team, but Lalandes?

Wasn't it Belarus who banned foreign goaltenders from their league, just to prepare for this year's World Championship?

both teams play like crap. some ahl-level quality hockey - that's what i see watching this game.

The Belarussian first line has been solid and overall Belarus is playing with some passion. Kazakhstan just looks slow and uninterested. But, yeah the level at which they're playing is less than I had hoped to see.
 
And with that Kazakhstan can say goodbye to staying in the elite division. Congrats to Belarus for coming out and playing, they more than deserved the win today. The Kazakhstani players should be ashamed at yet another pitiful performance.
