Toronto needs to stop buying their own bullshit that they can fix everyone and signing literally all the injured players.

Mmmm...ok. You know those names are in support of one of the strongest rosters in the NHL, right?

Many experts feel the Leafs had one of the best off seasons in the league and this was before resigning Robertson and getting Paccioretty and Hakanpaa.

You are kind of sounding like sour grapes to be honest? Gio? Now you are making fun of someone we might potential sign (and won't) to be our ninth dman? Murray? He is 30 years old and coming back from injury and is our third stringer with a pretty good #4 in the system. That is what you make fun of?

Name a top ten team from last year that had a better off-season. Go ahead.
You’re not wrong. I’m sour grapes. But I’ll be here for all 82 + potential playoffs, nothing will change there. I just don’t really like much about this team until proven wrong.

That's one way to look at it.

Another would be that he improved a team that finished top ten in the league last year. Did any of the nine teams that finished ahead of the Leafs also improve? As much as the Leafs? Anyone?

The Leafs projected opening night line up this year has the following changes from last year on opening night.

OUT --> IN

Bertuzzi --> McMann
Minten --> Paccioretty
Gregor --> Holmberg
Reaves --> Dewar
Brodie --> Tanev
Klingberg --> OEL
Giordano --> Benoit or Hakanpaa
Samsonov --> Stolarz
Keefe --> Berube

Any other top teams have this good of an off-season?

What do you mean offseason?

McMann, Holmberg, Dewar and Benoit all played for the leafs last year. All but Dewar played over 50 games.

Low risk, highish reward if he's able to stay healthy. I think him training in the off season will be beneficial for him, compared to rehabbing a injury. There's a big difference between the two.

Perhaps temper the expectations ..

The Leafs have signed old guys to low cap hit 1-2 year deals for years now, and they aren't rebuilding. Signing Pacioretty isn't going to kick them into a rebuild, but whatever helps you feel better I suppose.

First sign of decline. The Habs went through that road too.

They are beginning a New rebuild in 4 or 5 years max, you can book it

YESS, Max Pacioretty to the Leafs.

He's the one, he's the solution.. with him they'll definitely get out of the 1st round.

Pacioretty bread n butter always been his play in the playoffs.

He's the second coming of Claude Lemieux 😏 🤣
