If you’ve been watching the Leafs at all this year you wouldn’t be too shocked. Missing a bunch of games with injury, and just in general missing the net on chances he was scoring in his sleep last season. He probably won’t even hit 40 goals this year.

Never watched Matthews from a “rooting for him perspective” before really but damn I get why he’s frustrating.

I think it's absolutely worrisome he's never won a game 7 and lost again tonight. That said he has the skill, and a few good shots in a playoff run changes everything. He's got time to prove it's just been bad luck so far.
