I understand people thinking Kaprizov is better. I would choose him too.

But the results now are 16-0. I am not sure if it should be that lopsided.

I am not comparing Auston Matthews to Wayne Gretzky with this poll.

I think the difference between Nikita Kucherov and Kirill Kaprizov is bigger than the difference between Kirill Kaprizov and Matthew Tkachuk.

What has Kaprizov done to be ranked ahead of Kucherov?

It's a skilled forward vs an energy forward with a punchable face. There is def a bias to favor a type of player but Kap wins this.

The number of players that can lift their linemates like that is very small.

The number of Wingers who can elevate linemates like that is even smaller too.

It's like: Kaprizov, Kane, Panarin, maybe Gaudreau, Tarasenko. That's pretty much it, as a handful of the other guys have dropped off and can no longer pull guys up with them to that same extent.
