One is the best winger on the planet the other is contested in his household.
Lol
That's it. That's my response.
Yikes

I understand people thinking Kaprizov is better. I would choose him too.As a big Matthew Tkachuk fan, this is Kaprizov AINEC
It's not lopsided enough, and no amount of stat watching changes that.I understand people thinking Kaprizov is better. I would choose him too.
But the results now are 16-0. I am not sure if it should be that lopsided.
I am not comparing Auston Matthews to Wayne Gretzky with this poll.
Kaprizov:
2021-22 = 81 GP, 47 G, 61 A, 107 PTS
2022-23 = 10 GP, 8 G, 8 A, 13 PTS
Tkachuk:
2021-22 = 82 GP, 42 G, 62 A, 104 PTS
2022-23 = 10 GP, 5 G, 8 A, 13 PTS
See, it shouldn't be considered a total massacre.
Tkachuk also brings physical elements that Kaprizov doesn't.
Again, I would choose Kaprizov. But 16-0 seems a bit too lopsided.
Do you think the difference is as big of a difference as Gretzky vs. Matthews? It's not lopsided enough, and no amount of stat watching changes that.

Look at their linemates, also go back a year furtherI understand people thinking Kaprizov is better. I would choose him too.

That's nonsense.Do you think the difference is as big of a difference as Gretzky vs. Matthews?
As for the poster who said Kaprizov is the best winger on the planet?
I think the difference between Nikita Kucherov and Kirill Kaprizov is bigger than the difference between Kirill Kaprizov and Matthew Tkachuk.
What has Kaprizov done to be ranked ahead of Kucherov?
I think it’s a lot closer than the current 23-0 vote atm.

Kaprizov turned a career 4th liner into a 60 point Center, and a 34 year old Zuccerello who's previous career high was 61 points (81 games) into a PPG+ player (79 points in 70 games, 92 point pace).
The number of players that can lift their linemates like that is very small.
