I wish every player that wore a Rangers jersey wore it as proudly as Zucc did.

His hustle, heart, tenacity and talent will be missed here.

One of the easiest guy to root for. He went from a undrafted and undersized underdog, to our leading scoring for consecutive seasons.

Thanks for the memories, Zuccarello. It was a privilege watching you represent our blueshirts over the last nine seasons. :heart:

One of the rare players that was liked by at least 95% of the fan base.

Heart and soul type, but also incredibly skilled.

His pass to Carcillo in game 7 vs Philly was filthy.

Go Zucc and go Stars!

I've been watching Hockey since I was little but the 2014/2015 runs were what made me the fan of hockey I am today. Zuc quickly became one of my favorite players from those teams. His scary injury from the first round against Pittsburgh and the way he came back the next year and killed it the following season is something I will never forget. I will miss him but it was a move this team had to make. Thank you for your time here Zuc

My favorite Ranger. The talent, the work ethic, the determination. Absolute team player for us all throughout his tenure. It was a treat to watch him grow and gain the confidence of the coaches to become an all-situations first-liner and a team leader. It's the end of an era for me, to be sure.

Genuine good guy.

Couldn't ask for more. Thank you for everything, Zucc! Definitely would love to see him come back and wear the C for us.

I was going to post this pic too.

Behind only Hank as my favourite Ranger post-lockout. I think he still has a lot to offer our young guys as we rebuild and I really hope he comes back as a FA.

But for now, go Dallas!

My biggest concern with bringing Zucc back is the length of the contract. And then inevitable clauses.

4x4? Ok.

3x5? Sure.

It’s the 5+ year term with a NMC/NTC that worries me.
