He consistently had better line mates than Iginla.
Any one of Richards, Lecavalier or Stamkos would've been by far the best line mate Iginla ever had in his prime.
By the time Iggy got to play with elite talent, his prime was over.
Iginla also made the Olympic team in 2010 OVER St Louis if you wanna go that way.
St Louis was a key part of the Tampa team that won in 2004, but replace him with Iginla and they still likely win. He had a better team around him than Iggy did that year.
Iginla. Bigger, more physical, tougher and more intimidating, better goal scorer, more longevity, and won an Art Ross with Craig Conroy and Dean McAmmond as his line mates.
The only thing St. Louis really has over Iginla is team success, which is a dumb argument in these type of comparisons 95% of the time, and this is no exception.
St. Louis has an additional Art Ross (in a half season), but Iggy has an additional Rocket (shared), so I’d call it even on that front.

Iggy has an art Ross so msl has 1 over him.
Iggy also has 2 rockets. He lost the Hart to a goalie but he was the Pearson winner.
Tampa was way better than the flames in 04 , that's a team win.
Iggy was better , saying this as a bigger msl fan. It is close though
Close. Both played at the same time, but Iginla was viewed as the better/greater/more valuable player (despite MSL having a hart) and having those intangibles. Going with Iginla.
