Marner haters right now

Marner clearly can be great when he's on.

Need to finally get him into the playoffs on a hot streak and high on his game instead of rattled.
 
Amen. Exactly why you don’t jump to conclusions after 5 games lol some of these “fans” are ridiculous. His contracts doesn’t matter. It’s too late to change that. That is the whole point of a contracts. Waste as many tears as you want but at least root the kid on in the meantime

He is a special player who plays a 200 foot game. He is a top 10 player in the league, who also kills penalties.

The only people that want to get rid of Marner are people that have no idea what they’re watching.

Lovin it. Just get him off the PK Sheldon. There is no basis for putting an elite offensive guy on the PK unless he is creating offense there, which he isn't. They are 18th on the kill going back to beginning of last season. Use him up at even strength where there is at least an obvious return.

Not sure this is needed. Marner deserved criticism for his play so it was warranted. He is not playing back like a star so he should get credit.

You among others crucified him. There is no coming back from that. You need to keep his name out of your mouth.
Your childish behaviour is offensive and insulting to real fans. You went past criticism long ago mr addition by subtraction.

Marner was always going to finish the season around a PPG or more, where he will be judged is come playoff time. Like many others on this team will be.
 
Regardless of what you think of the contract, Marner definitely knows where the expectations are and cares when he isn't performing the way he can.
 
Not sure did anyone of you guys saw the McD presser the other night. That’s the type of answer I expect AM, JT and MM.
They are expected to deliver results due to their contracts.
Anyhow, glad MM is producing. He kept his plays simple again and didn’t overthink the game.
 
Marner takes too much internet abuse on this forum.

He's only a kid.

He's trying, he just has not figured it out completely.

Marner should play more like Marchand, not that he should be a dirty rat, but the rat gets most of his goals around the net. The rat does not have a great shot either.
