I lost mine to cancer during the pandemic. The one in the picture is our newest member to the family, but I still miss my old guy :(
Same. Mine was 8 years old and went everywhere with me. Poor guy had a life expectancy of 15+

It was a horrible time to loose a member of the family. My condolences, I know what you went through.

This is a pic of her on the way home, she is a year and a half now. Full sized. All those pictures are on the phone.

thanks and also oof
good to keep in mind that it's just one guy's rankings lol but also considering that there's 32 teams in the league, having more than 1 prospect on the list would mean a really strong prospect pool. 8 teams didn't even have one prospect on the list, of which include the Avs, Panthers, Bruins & Canes.

robertson 47, knies HM

I find it hard to believe there are 47 better prospects than Robertson and Knies. Let me guess, this is a Scott Wheeler list? He is horrible at evaluating prospects and generally undervalues the Leafs.

And our guy wasn't even drafted in the first round

As long as Sandin Liljegren Niemela develop into quality top 4 guys to join Rielly I don't see any huge urgency for more dmen prospects.
It's great to have a skilled defence but we also need some tough dman for the playoffs.
Would love to find a couple of dman in the Muzzin mold. A couple of dman to keep the oppositions heads up and play solid defence.

Glad to hear Villeneueve stood out. I've liked his development in junior so far, and would love to see him transition to the AHL well. Be nice to get another solid RHD prospect in the system.

Leafs have done well with Lily and Sandin in the system, and have some good promise with Niemela. After that Kokkenen and Kral are the only notable names with NHL potential IMO. Be nice if they could add another name to that list considering they haven't selected a defensemen in the last two drafts with their 8 collective picks.

The Leafs are going to have a couple of gaps years where they won't have any d-man graduating to the AHL from other ranks which could be a risk to organizational depth.
Was kokkenen at the development camp ?

So Villeneuve's skating has improved?

I think at the time of the draft that was the one thing that scouts questioned the most.

He certainly wasnt fumbling around out there

I think his skating is improvable. He has a nice stride and his cornering looked pretty good

A couple times he needed to push it back into his own zone and made up ground quite quickly

Odd as gis skating didnt stick out as bad whereas Minten's skating stood out as needing something

honestly every time i've seen him it looks like a strength not a weakness, even if he's not a speedster.

And who are you taking out of the this lineup to put them in?

Rielly Brodie
Muzzin Liljegren
Giordano Sandin.

Was just what I remembered being talked about when drafted.

Went back and read his draft thread and many people at the time were saying skating needed to improve.

His stride and strength was the problem, and it wasn't even like he was a "bad" skater. He wasn't losing many foot races and his 4-way mobility especially was very good. He mostly needed to improve his stride for the pro level.

He improved his stride. He bulked up. There is nothing really weak about his game anymore. It is a matter of just playing everything up that much more through fine-tuning, and continuing to bulk up.

The one thing that always seemed weird to me was people who said he was a poor defensive player. He was actually fairly good defensively, but was stuck with Poirier. Poirier plays like a 4th forward, much like Gardiner. Villeneuve, therefore, was stuck in a similar situation as Zaitsev where he was forced to be a defensive stay-at-home guy when he is at his best moving the puck in transition and playing a proper two-way game... And even proper defensive stay-at-home guys do not look great with Poirier. When Villeneuve played with anyone besides Poirier, he was excellent at both ends of the ice.

Very curious to see how this numbers game is going to work in net below the NHL level.

Woll probably out to start the season, but it's still

Woll
Kallgren
Petruzzelli
McKay
Cavallin
Semptimphelter

Hildeby can also come over once his SHL season ends.
