Ho Sang is such a dynamic player. His skating is very good, his puck handling is very good. We often have a decent percentage of puck possession when he's on the ice... and yet, nothing happens... no pucks in the net. You watch him, and you think how much better than everyone on the ice he looks, and he does look that much better... but then, he doesn't score, and he doesn't set up others to score??? You wonder why.

Steeves takes a high hit to the head... should be a penalty... He was on the ice for a minute, and is into the dressing room... no penalty... uggg.

Sounding more and more like McBain might go UFA. Could be a great add to the centre depth of our prospect pool. Would immediately be the top C prospect in the organization, no?

Holmberg for me, but ya I don't see anyone else in that tier besides maybe Abramov or Abruzzese if you think he'll continue as a C (I don't).

In a couple of years, a C core of Matty, Tavares, McBain and Douglas done the middle would be beastly. Size, and quite a bit of talent.

Another poor game from the Marlies.

Woll was our best player. Defense was okay other than a ridiculous amount of unforced turnovers.

Offense was absolutely useless. Nobody really looked good today up front, and I would say only the 4th line met expectations.

Marlies look like they are headed for a callapse and that might not be a bad thing.

I don't watch many marlies games. Maybe you can shed some light

From looking at the stat sheets and types of players, there seems to be a lot of similar types of players?

to be fair if you look at that roster there is no real offensive threats if you remove robertson and steeves.
i love anderson as a net front jammer but beyond that its all useless.

No Seney either.

Sure, we weren't at full strength, but we still had Ho-Sang, SDA, Anderson, Steeves, Abramov, Suomela, and Blandisi.

None of them did much that game. Suomela had a number of great chances but missed on them. Ho-Sang was flashy but he caused more problems for us than the other team. The rest were mostly just quiet.
