Florida & Colorado were reportedly very interested in signing him.

Last time Steen vouched for a guy in Sweden, we ended up with Joakim Lindstrom. Granted that was 4 years before Steen won the cup, so he could've learned new things but the point still stands lmaoI got high hopes for this guy. He could turn out to be a blue chip NHL player. Team needs this kind of scouting. I got faith in Steen's eye for Euro talent. He values the complete player.
Well, if true, that was Steen the player probably doing a solid for a friend. Lidstrom was soft as tissue. If you notice the Euro guys Steen has drafted or signed as FA, these guys are all willing to get dirty and win battles. Steen was that kind of player and there's no doubt in my mind those are the kind of players he wants to bring here as a GM building a club.Last time Steen vouched for a guy in Sweden, we ended up with Joakim Lindstrom. At this point in his career, I'd 100% agree with you. I think it's a goofy thing to bring up and remember, but I've seen how most of the players and kids we drafted play. Even if Lindstrom scored a lot, I think the Swedish game (or at least the game the players are playing) is a lot different than what it used to be.Well, if true, that was Steen the player probably doing a solid for a friend.
