I don’t love giving up a second when he only had 1 year left but I can live with it. We have 2 3rds next year correct?
Not sure as in how you feel about the deal itself? Or more about what the driver of it was/what the fallout of this becomes? Not sure what to think of this yet.
Yeah, like, we don't have to run out and do something because of this.Hopefully they just re-sign ADA and comfortably have space to keep the rest of the RFAs happy now without being in a bind
Really wondering now if Sergachev is a target. Not that I would be in favor of it personally but it does kind of fit.
This also opens up the possibility of an offer sheet.
they can keep their guys and extend one.

Uh, yeah, but that shows great management in and of itself...
@GoAwayStaal now changing his name to @GoAwayStrome
A little rich for my blood.OEL or Klefbom? Obviously that’s thru trade.
a lot of the tiers require a second round pickThis also opens up the possibility of an offer sheet.

Losing their 2nd next year affects the type of offer-sheet they can extend, though. Unless it's in the $4,363,096 - $6,544,640 range, in which the price is a 1st and a 3rd.

Yup just let Hank play out his deal now. No need to ruffle feathers and do anything crazy. Their should be enough space to ice the same team as last year without Staal. It’s not like there’s any real targets this summer to make a splash with and I would rather not trade ADA after the season he just hadYeah, like, we don't have to run out and do something because of this.
I'd like to get another year under our belts before we really get aggressive.
maybe. I’m happy we recouped almost 6 million in space now. Plus I have a feeling we will recoup a second this year or next year in a tradeYup.
And next years draft blows
.
Would rather Barzal.
I'd be totally fine with Miller, Tarmo and Hajek battling for the spot. No need to sign a guy as old as Krug who is going to want a pay day.
Yeah, now that I think about it, there has to be some plan here.Huh. Wasn’t expecting that
This has to preclude another move. You don’t move a 2nd rounder for no reason.
If this is just to clear space to keep the band together I’ll be kinda pissed tbh. Keeping Jesper Fast isn’t worth a 2nd

Is 6.5 AAV enough to where a team like Tampa can walk away from Sergachev or Cirelli?
