Im fine with both Hanifin and Lindholm. Hanifin isn’t as bad as this board wants to make him out to be, for some reason, and is younger than ADA. He’s really, a worst, a decent 3 going forward. If we can add a LHD like Hanifin (age being a factor) and Lindholm, I’m all for it.

Just add Bennett to Hanifin and Lindholm. 3 for 2 and everybody shuts up

Because I fear it’ll cost us ADA+ and despite wanting someone who can possibly play that 2C role, I’d rather keep ADA here, sign Strome for 1 year, and see if we can groom Chytil for that role longterm.

I also don’t think this is the right year to be moving ADA with all things considered.

There really isn’t one.

Brodin is off the board. Dunn is probably off the board since STL is letting Pietrangelo walk. OEL is as old as Krug and more expensive in terms of contract and assets. Ekholm would be nice but Nashville will probably move other guys first.

As I suggested months ago, Hampus Lindholm might be the best option but he will cost a pretty penny. Also suggested Martínez. Not a big ticket but would be a good stopgap.

With Staal gone without retention, depending on what happens with Hank I’d actually consider Krug. He’s a top notch two-way defender who would look amazing opposite Trouba, IMO.

Feels totally unrealistic to even mention it, but I also didn’t think we’d be dumping Staal with no salary retainer/coming back, so you never know.
