I do feel that maybe Staal felt Miller was likely to take his spot this year, or atleast have him sitting from time to time and he probably doesn’t want to stop playing yet, so take a trade and see if you can plant some roots in detroit as a vet to help the kids and maybe get a deal for a year or two.

Buchnevich for Bennett?? Rangers need to be harder to play against and more center pk depth

This thread is why people always used to say the NY Rangers could never rebuild because the fans would never let them. Staal's money is already spent. If we go out and shop for shiny new toys, we will end up losing better players when that money is actually needed.

can I like this many many times?

I've said for over a year they should have gone after Bennett. They should easily get a 2nd this year, next, plus Bennett for Buchnevich. Bennett is exactly the type of role player they need. Most of the Rangers role players are super soft.
You’ve said, you’ve said, you’ve said.

Bro - nobody cares what you keep saying.

A week ago you were hellbent on Dvorak and now it’s Bennett, who’s inferior compared to Buch.

Im fine with both Hanifin and Lindholm. Hanifin isn’t as bad as this board wants to make him out to be, for some reason, and is younger than ADA. He’s really, a worst, a decent 3 going forward. If we can add a LHD like Hanifin (age being a factor) and Lindholm, I’m all for it.

Going nowhere with that blue line.
Just got rid of our biggest anchor, Fox/Lindgren is a year older, Trouba should be a little more comfortable, we’ll see what happens with Tony.

but realistically we’re like one top4 d away from having a high end top-4. I think a full year of Igor is going to make us realize that goaltending was part of the problem at times as well.
