Weird. Also mostly a throwaway. But still weird.AND a 6th?! I mean I get it is a late pick but why did we add more?

Me too. I have no issues with dealing Marat. He’s not what I was hoping he was going to be and I don’t see any signs of his getting any better offensively. I liked Lauko.I'm more bummed that Lauko is gone than Khusnutdinov.
Wild literally traded two of the worst forwards in the entire league this year and there are people that are ready to give up on everything surrounding this franchise. This is great entertainment. I’d say there are other teams you are free to follow but this is an amusing read so please stay.
No because these things never happenedLauko was actually pretty good until he got injured. Khus was young and had speed. Remember when we gave up on Haula or Sturm?
What world do you live in? Must be great to bend it to fit your narrative. Sturm was offered a contract that he declined. Thats not giving up on him. Haula was packaged in the expansion draft to protect better players. If there was no expansion draft he would have been a quality player for a while for this team. Hardly given up on.Lauko was actually pretty good until he got injured. Khus was young and had speed. Remember when we gave up on Haula or Sturm?
Guerin has shown he is obsessed with size and only size. The Wild is one of the slowest teams in the league and they got rid of the one guy that had some speed for a really slow player.
Fans are concerns about Guerin's decision making with two major decisions coming up and his comments.
Don't like this one bit, and we move two guys with speed for one guy without
Me either. Seems more like deck shuffling of mid 4th line players. Couldn't care less about that lolMe too. I have no issues with dealing Marat. He’s not what I was hoping he was going to be and I don’t see any signs of his getting any better offensively. I liked Lauko.
Sorry, but I don’t have the negative reaction most seem to have regarding this trade. While I like Lauko, he was hurt twice. Durability issues?? Don’t know, but it looks on paper like Brazeau brings more offense for what will eventually be a bottom six role and we need that. Not sure why we had to throw in a 6th round pick but the odds of that developing into someone who plays NHL minutes are minuscule at best.
Haula wasn't going to sign back and was pissed that Minnesota didn't move him off the bottom 6. Sturm didn't want to resign because he wanted to move off the fourth line. Seems like they gave up on them.No because these things never happened

Nope. Because Minnesota didn’t give up on either and both went on to play the same roles they were playing for the Wild.Sound familiar?
And aside from 1 year on an expansion team, Haula's been a bottom 6 player in every stop he's been at since.Haula wasn't going to sign back and was pissed that Minnesota didn't move him off the bottom 6. Sturm didn't want to resign because he wanted to move off the fourth line. Seems like they gave up on them.
Sturm declined because he didn't want to be stuck on the fourth line. Haula didn't want to resign with a Minnesota because he was stuck on the bottom 6. He made it known he thought Minnesota underutilized him. Sound familiar?
They gave up on them. Instead of putting them in positions to succeed they decided to trade them because it was easier.Nope. Because Minnesota didn’t give up on either and both went on to play the same roles they were playing for the Wild.
Glad we got that squared away.
I admonish your dedication but you should know by now it’s like talking to a wall.Nope. Because Minnesota didn’t give up on either and both went on to play the same roles they were playing for the Wild.
Glad we got that squared away.
You’re too funny. They gave up on them. Instead of putting them in positions to succeed they decided to trade them because it was easier.
Probably shouldn't go un-noted that Brazeau has 8 fewer points in 127 fewer games than those 2 combined.
So all their other teams also gave up on them? They gave up on them. Instead of putting them in positions to succeed they decided to trade them because it was easier.
He'll be in the AHL and then Minnesota won't re-sign him. Remember the Donato for Coyle trade. What the hell happened to Donato?Noted, but it's hard to be optimistic about this stat when the scouting report from Bruins fans is that he's big, has decent hands, and brings absolutely nothing else to the table. Terrible skater? We're stacked with those.
I think Boston ran a great pump and dump scheme with him this year. His offense is already tailing off. He's not a defensive player. He's not an aggressive physical player despite the size.
