Where's all the hockey experts telling us it's definitely the team defence that's shit, and no way it's the sub .900 goaltending letting in floaters ? It's amazing how the team defence has changed so drastically by simply swapping Mrazek out for an AHL goalie. Give Kallgren the norris ?

Heck the goals were both bounces and weak d in front.

I like the kid. I like his reported mentality. But he bobbled a lot of pucks and they missed the net like 6 times.

This is hockey. It’s harder to put bouncing pucks in under pressure. He did fantastic but the d change d

I was worried about this one because it is Carolina and we had a rookie in net but the rookie came through and once again made the saves that were needed.

I still want them to go get a goalie like Fluery or Varlamov because I'm not going to call the kid the answer based off of 2 good games.

but it is nice to see the team actually getting a save the last couple games.

if they can get a save consistently I honestly believe they can win it all, I always have.

Yeah basically. I also think a half way competent goalie isn't so vulnerable to odd bounces. It can't be overstated how chaotic Mrazek's game is.

Freddy outdueled by the other goalie. We have seen that before. Getting outplayed by Carolina at times isn't bad, thats a great team but funny how the defence doesn't look as bad when a goalie makes saves. Fantastic work by Kallgren again.

The funny thing is we rope a doped them (purposely or not). We had like 21 shots but about 6 of them were clears. But enough good scoring chances he still had to make saves

Bobbling the puck is something the defense can handle.

Letting the puck through you from any angle isn't.
