So Kallgren has 2 very good games yet Keefe and old school hockey mentality started Marzek in the outdoor game when we all knew it should have been Kellgren.

Listen this kid so far is cool in the nets very quiet not jumping around like Marzek.

All the Leafs need is decent goaltending not .950 but .910 - .920

Refs keep screwing over the Leafs...I said it in the game thread, and I'll say it here: some of those teams ahead of the Leafs in points are actually not better than the Leafs, but they just get more powerplay opportunities from these corrupt refs to help them win games and get more points...there is no way that the Leafs should just get 1 powerplay (again) tonight if the game was called fairly...it was only several games ago when the Leafs only got 1 powerplay over 4 games! You know what would happen to the refs if a team like the Bruins got 1 powerplay in 4 games?
The refs keep trying

Lmao Andersieve, that first goal was typical Andersen, weak shot from the side of the net, he must've thought it was a playoff elimination game. I thought the shot totals were pretty misleading, lots of weak floaters from the outside. Kallgren played a great game though, that sprawling save was gorgeous. Refs were absolute dog shit again, can't believe they refused to call that tripping penalty, in plain sight once again but just refuse to call it, that was going to be a breakaway.

Also anyone else see that Marner hit ? Where the hell did that come from.

But yeah f*** off Freddy, go focus on the 18 saves and leadership group there.

Is this the reffing we're doomed with for the rest of the year? Management has to f***ing say something already, it can't get any worse.

Loved the effort. Best back checking I have seen this season.

Andersen is who we thought he was.

Some negatives were the blueline turnovers in the first, good job cleaning that up... It's the reason we won imo. Also, putrid job at clearing the puck in the final two minutes.

The biggest positive, Kallgren is simply steady.

Thought Bunting really struggled in this one but battled hard every shift.

Who the f*** is managing the D... For f*** sales man make it clear who is up next. Loser /s.
When it happens this often it's on the players. And I think the forwards have been called more often then the d

It's like clockwork every night. Leafs grab a lead and the refs pull out the bullshit every chance they get to try to get the other team back into it. It's 2 different sets of rules every night. We can't win in the playoffs if they do this horseshit.

Yup 100 % you're right. I hear ya. Very frustrating.

I think the goaltending and defense have propped each other up. Defense has protected Kallgren but their quality of play has also improved with Kallgren being a stable goalie back there.

Column A and Columb B. Leafs doing their best to not leave Kallgren hanging out to dry, Kallgren making the basic saves that previously squeaked through our terrible twosome lifts the spirits of the guys in front of him.
