That last game was a barn burner, and as frustrating as it was we lost it was still a lot of fun to watch, that level of offensive hockey (mixed with terrible defense/goaltending)

I'd rather see a more playoff style game. Would love to see a tight defensive game. Unless you think playoffs are going to be 5-4 games every night? If we can blow them out 6-1, I am cool with that too though.

Man is Lily on a tear. 13 hits in his last 5 games. 82 hits in 58 games. He started a little slow too. This isn't to illustrate his physicallity which it sort of does. But it also shows that he likes to play the body. He really likes to take away chances before they can even begin with. Great stick work too. Need to work on strength and speed a bit this off season.

Fla is all about barn burners. Even in playoffs.

41 goals scored in 6 games last year.

And then games where Vasi shut them out but Tampa put up 4

Yea but IMO, this isn’t the game to do it. Rest everyone against the caps and the red wings. Play healthy lineup against bruins then head into the playoffs coming off a good win.

Maybe. His edge work is amazing. For a smaller player every bit of advantage helps specifically those areas.

I'll probably get roasted if Leafs don't win against Tampa because it's their most likely opponent but Marner is going to be a beast in the playoffs. Same with Nylander and Matthews. Tampa was stupid for piling on the score and doing shit like that. That was scary and looked like he meant to. Dirty play.

Marner is right for responding like that. He'll do his talking on the ice in the first round.
