It clearly works for Nylander. We have absolutely no clue what happens in the locker room but Nylander is having objectively the best season of his career this season under Keefe with a bit of tough love. He will be okay.

Nylander's pt/60 even strength is much higher with matthews this season while Tavares is way below (disregard lower TOI); now as a coach who wants to play his players to their strengths is Keefe really coaching Nylander to succeed on the 3rd line?

Or maybe he is challenging him to drive his own line. Shocker. He can always go back with Matthews lol none of that changes what I said. Nylander is having the best season of his career right now under Keefe and the way he is handling him. You don't need to white knight on behalf of him.
