This is going to be a real test. It was fun beating up on the Devils, but this is a meaningful game here. A true cup contender with no holes on the roster. So excited to see how the boys perform against a legitimate cup favorite. Also wanna light Freddy up lmao. He's having a great season in Carolina but I'm still not fully sold on him.

at the same time, I’m a leafs fan and don’t wanna lose this game

Ideally Fred doesn’t play and it’s a 8-1 win but Im guessing that’s wishful thinking

I’ll hope for a 3-1 game where the leafs dominate the game completely.

I know i have said I want both goalies to get thrir heads out of their asses and I do.

But I don't care if they win this 2-1 or 8-6 like they did a couple years ago.

I expect both teams to off after not playing for a week so just win this one.

What about Matthews and Aho? Do they get the night off or are they right back at it? It makes a ton of sense for the goalies to sit this one out imo... Depending on what the other two get up to I guess would determine their 'fit-ness' to play. I do expect both to be in the lineup.

No personal experience, but I bet a Leaf game day skate is more strenuous than an All-Star game. He'll be back.

Yea, I'm not basing any absenteism on the actual game... it would be the off-hours events that I am referring to.

Does it do anything to grow the game? A non fan may enjoy the 3 on 3 skill show but as soon as the watch the Islanders try to clog up the ice in a real game that fan is gone.

Hopefully some kids in the US fall in love and the Leafs can draft them down the road.
