A lot of it is, yes.

4th worst save percentage 5-on-5 in that period, and Mrazek is bringing that up with his mediocre .903. Campbell has an .879.

Meanwhile, we are top 10 in every defensive category in that time. Sure, we had some bad defensive games in there... But our goaltending (or mostly Campbell) has been absolutely deplorable.

If people genuinely believe our defense is the reason why Campbell has an .879 5-on-5 save percentage, with a .660 HDSV%, then I don't know what to tell you. His actual GAA is 3.55, and the xGAA is 2.35.

Today is no different. Most of those 5 goals against right now are squarely on Campbell. Markstrom is making those saves on the other end. Campbell simply is not.

At least in the Winnipeg game there was some pushback. Difference is there's no Simmonds or Clifford tonight. Ritchie as shit as he is at least tried to go after Dubois that game, but of course that chicken-shit fake tough guy ran and then hid on the bench the rest of the night.

Who the f*** is going to do anything tonight? Rielly tried and him, Brodie, and Engvall all got taken down no problem. None of our stars are going to do anything, and honestly I'd rather they didn't hurt themselves in a fight. Holl is big for nothing, Muzzin is too old and has lost whatever physical edge he had since coming here. Bunting's a rat but that isn't the same as strength. You can't have a Tucker without Roberts, Domi, or Belak.

JT has points, but i barely ever come away from a game feeling impressed or satisfied with how he played. i remember the strong as a bull tavares that nobody could take the puck from, this isnt him anymore :(

Yeah he definitely isn't playing to the $11M contract. He's certainly been fine, but at that contract you need to be elite.

I've actually felt that it was more just a case Calgary showing great class on the finish tonight. They scored a couple decisive beauties.
