I thought Holmberg had done enough last season to earn a spot on the team going into this season. We'll have to see what comes out of this promotion.

I read many "experts" though Holmberg ran out of steam in the 2nd half of his stay last year with the Leafs. The guys job is to bring energy and not be a liability without the puck. he does those two and he will stay with the big club.

Holmberg is a smart, heady player. Minten will go down and play 20+ minutes a night in all situations and he'll be better off for it. One more year and summer in the gym and he should come back to camp next year looking to stick for good
