Tavares and nylander played alright together but I think their play styles are pretty different.

They're better suited playing with the guys they are now. Sure seems that way recently.

Either way they can move guys around in the lineup. Always a good thing.

After tonight, Tampa would be 8 points back with 6 games left, us 5. If we win Thursday, they are 10 points back with 5 games left. So they would have to win all 5 games and we would need to lose all of ours.

So yeah, basically a lock

It would be an actual lock, because the Leafs would have the tie breaker. The first tie breaker is regulation wins and the Leafs are ahead 42 to 34, (not counting tonight's games). There is no way that Tampa can catch up.
