Big matchup vs Tampa on Thursday, wonder if the focus for this one is a little lacking? The boys have been playing stellar lately, just grinding the shit out of the opponents for what seems like hours, and then they drop the massive skill and take control of the game.

Agree with @Coachcorner, Kallgren probably gets the start as we should see Campbell vs both Tampa and Florida (would be good for him to be familiar with those opponents).

Some whispers Matthews does not play until Saturday, if that is what he needs, that is what he gets.

Should probably rotate the last 6 games between Campbell and Kallgren. Hope Muzzin can get some games in to get up to speed for the playoffs.

Well he's in Blue so he might play no?

Either way not a big deal. I want him to get 60 but there's enough games left and being ready to go for the playoffs is the main goal.

Good to see Sandin looking decent.

I think it means he's day to day so it is possible but unlikely since he wouldn't be skating there, he'd be skating with the main group if he was a game time decision. We'll see.

Comfy methodical win tonight , would be fine and dandy.

Score of the PP...kill a few PKs and run the clock to low impact win.

But if Matthews is in the lineup - I'm more than fine with his line playing loosey-goosey.
 
Is Matthews good to go for tonight? or are we still taking a very cautious approach? No complaints from me. I’d rather they take precautionary actions but just wanna know to keep my excitement levels in check lol

Looks like Auston is with the main group too now. Sandin looks close. Kase in red but looks like he's making progress. If Kase can return, that would be such a huge boost to the depth.

Is he? I haven't read about it or seen a tweet about the main group. That's good news though, probably means he's in.

Kase in red means he's still a couple weeks away I'd say. Seems playoff bound ready though. Sandin might be ready soon but... not sure he'll get into the lineup if it's healthy.

Edit: nevermind it's an optional skate for the team. Misread one of the tweets. Reporters are saying he's likely out.

I can't imagine Matthews missing such an important game unless he's really not ready.
Hoping that skate with the injured players was just a check-in to make sure all is okay.

This is the opposite of important game lol. Flyers are playing for nothing and have a few cheap players that i would rather not have AM34 play against if he isn't 100.
We have two important games on tap this week versus the FLA teams.
We should rest JT, Mitch and Mo and let some of the Marlies play tonight.

If we can get one playoff series worth of destructive Kase I think we'll be okay. Let's be real...that man is not gonna go 0-50...he'll go straight to 100 and hurt himself again. Guy is truly a beast just so unlucky.

Our capitano JT will be resting, but only next week sire. They will also (keefe) rest other plezayers next week and them will not be twerkin hard at all then.
