It's crazy that he's already 82nd all-time for goals by a dman. Not sure he'll beat Bourque for #1 all-time, but he'll at least get close and finish top 5 all-time at minimum, unless his career gets derailed by injuries.

Makar is a great player. Really impressive. He's a bit more special playing what is seen as a premium position as a right handed defender. Any team in the league would be dramatically improved if they added him. As for those who want to somehow make this about how Makar is "better" than MacKinnnon, that may be true, and I would defer to the Avs fans that watch both all the time. But even if true, that's no slight on MacKinnon. If he's your second best player you have an excellent team.

In a healthy season from Hughes I could see 50 goals 30 assists for 110 points on the year.

I don't know if I'm the only one but I wouldn't have Mack in the top 3 Hart conversation. I would rather slip Makar into there I think he has been better this season or maybe my expectation with Mack are way too high

Draiaitl/McDavid and Makar/MacKinnon probably all should be cancelled out, but then Helle or Eichel gets it. Makar def deserves a lot of votes.
