Surgery required

Hoping for a speedy recovery to one of the future stars of the league. Hope he doesnt rush back as this is one of those injuries that can be career altering if it gets hurt again.

While you are never lucky with this sort of injury. At least he's on a team that wasn't going to be fighting for the playoffs.

Still might be worth it to get in some games, but at least there is the flexibility not to have to rush it if he isn't 100%.

As others have said, its best to take their time with this one. I hope this isn't one of those lingering injuries.

That sucks. But the Ducks won’t need him this year. Ducks will be back in the picture once Mintyukov makes the leap; then look out.

This absolutely sucks for him...........but if there's a silver lining, it should give Anaheim more balls in the Bedard lottery? I wouldn't mind seeing Bedard in Anaheim.

Hope he recovers well and progresses this offseason.

That’s the injury Nolan Patrick suffered in the year prior to his draft year. That’s too bad for the guy. Think with Patrick it was later revealed that he torn the labrum on both sides of his hip.
