Figured we could use a thread for some MTG discussion.

Recently got into Magic cause of a couple of work buddies. Came into it at the right time, too, seeing as they've just announced the Final Fantasy collab. Really looking forward to this set.

Love me some mtg.

I mainly play Arena but id live to eventually play paper as well once the time is right.

I tried getting into the physical game as I've got a couple friends that play from time to time. Then I saw how much it can cost to build good decks just by buying singles (much less ripping packs) and I kind of stopped bothering after buying some LOTR pack bundles. Don't even really play Arena much anymore, but the few months I did, it's a fun game.

havent played since Judgement. still have my squirrel prison and sneak attack decks but Im sure everything good about them has been banned

Depending upon what you play its can be a little cheaper now. Sets in standard rotate now every 3 years now instead of 2 i think so you can build a deck and have it last a lot longer now than in years past. WotC also is slower on banning cards in standard. Commander if you dont really wanna spend the money you can always proxy cards.
