Be careful, he's our Trojan Horse.

Habs are running on fumes, hopefully the days off help the boys

Habs won't play until Sunday. Three full day off for pro athlete.

They won't be more or less running on fumes than anyone else.

2nd youngest team in the league. Fatigue won't an excuse/problem.

I have Caps in 6. Wouldn't be shoked if an upset. Washington overachieved with the roster they have imo.

As a Jet fans I have no skin in the game. From what I have watch this season the Habs have very little chance to beat the Caps. The only team that can defeat the Caps in the Eastern Conference is the Caps. If they play to their potential the Haps have no chance.

Caps in 6 but it won't be easy....Montreal has nothing to lose and they will have no pressure on themselves......

I know people on here never learn, but I'll just remind you all that back in 2021 there were a lot of confident, cocky posters in a similar thread who said the Habs had no chance against the Leafs. Then, the next round that they had no chance against the Jets. Then, that the Knights would annihilate them (yet they played pretty evenly).

My point is that anything can happen in the playoffs. Logically, a favored team should win, but a good lesson to learn is to never underestimate any team that makes it to the playoffs. Show some respect to all teams.

With that said, despite the Caps kind of slowing down in the past few weeks, I think they should win this. If Montreal beat them, it'd be like if the very young Leafs beat Washington all the way back in 2017.

As a Habs fan, I'm just enjoying the ride. This team has so much more promise for the future than any other roster I've seen in the past 30 years.

The Habs win tonight really was a gimme, they are out of gas and probably a lot of injured players. WSH in 5 and I believe it could go in 4 but hey good experience for the younger players
