Whoa that’s f*cking lame. I guess there’s a few in every crowd. I will say, every MTL fan I have ever interacted with at Capital One arena has been a pleasure to be around. Unlike, say, ppl who come in from Philly and NYR. Still, I would hope for better from people who appreciate this awesome sport and the athletes who put themselves on the line to deliver a game worth watching.

I think we have a lot of classy moments but we also have shitheads in our fanbase like everybody else. A couple years back during our series with Winnipeg some guy got jumped for wearing a jets jersey forced to take it off threatened on the street etc.Really weird shit and the guy was traumatized after

That's messed up. At the end of the day we're all hockey fans, just with different teams allegiances, and although banter can be fun, it's easy to take it too far.

...yup...I was at a Bruins - Habs game in Boston a few years ago and a couple Bruins fans started pushing this poor teenager in a Habs jersey around while he was trying to take a leak...almost led to a Bathroom Brawl...idiot fans do idiot things...

It’s weird. If I run into a dude with a leafs hat I consider us to have something in common. But not all people look at it like that, I’ve had people from rival teams take it too seriously. Like we’re enemies in real life.
