We don't think they're done but we're smelling the blood in the water.

And by the way those just sound like some moral victories, we will see how much a 5v5 player will actually help but I'm really not stressing unless you can bring back prime Oates to feed Ovie here either let's be real.

Actual victories are 2-1 so far, no need for the moral ones just yet. You might not know about Protas yet, but it will be interesting to see how he performs.

Protas coming back is the biggest worry I have about this series. I hope I'm wrong, but I think he will be a lot to handle. Maybe too much.
Lol, sounds like you’re talking about Mario Lemieux or prime Lindros 😂

I expect him to be a factor, but he’s part of their team, not some secret weapon the Habs don’t see coming.

I’m sure the Habs have done their due diligence scouting-wise and know what to expect.

That’s the point, Wilson handled Anderson just fine in the past. Now he doesn’t need to concern himself with guys like Anderson or Xhekaj because he’s a much better hockey player than either one of them and they’re leading in the series.

If Carbs puts Big Mac in the lineup, that’s a more appropriate dance partner.
Anderson grinded his @SS all along the bench...Wilson probably had the trainer plucking splinters out of his b*tt all day. Wilson is running scared from Anderson who is a lesser opponent than Xhekaj. Wilson has lost his edge and resorts to play acting like diving and crying. He is a joke just like your mostly-absent geriatric Ovi. Stop the false bravado and care for the baby.

I'm sure he will provide some help, I'm not discountong him at all and it might be enough to slow us down. But there's tons of question marks her and by the time he finds his legs it migt be too little too late. He's not exactly a game breaker either.

I see Canadiens fans are feeling pretty emboldened after game three. Where was all this bravado in game one and two?

So much for the civil discussion between Habs and Caps fans! LOL 😂

I guess the discourse here matches the tone of the series. I think we’re in for a good show on Sunday!

One finished in OT and the other was a one goal game until an empty netter. They both could have gone either way. Cross checking to face was legal then. This is a series and the teams are adversaries...this is the way.

Honestly the Habs fans' treatment of an injured Thompson is just so bush league. I was almost starting to like ya'll too.

Keep crying about Wilson #RentFree ya'll will get what you deserve when this series is over

Yeah other than the Caps trying to use the Bruins tactic against us I think this is a pretty entertaining series. What's wrong with a little bravado is this not a sports forum lol. You would be too if your team dished us a thorough good ole' whoopin like last game ;)

In all fairness though, it WAS a close game all the way up until the 3rd but this time we unraveled them and everyone can feel it. Protas will have to be game playoff shape ready to keep up and you just lost the best goalie in the series are the main reasons but there are a ton more I can enumerate. With a little confidence this Habs team is dangerous enough to be a top team and you're all just finding out now. Washington ain't taking nothing off the pedal they're simply getting outweighed (metaphorically) by our top guys.

And you say Protas will make a difference, I say Demidov is still the ace we haven't seen put up a point yet. Yes he is a bit shellshocked but it's normal, but that's going to wear off sooner than Portas will make a tangible difference in the series.
Edit: sorry that last part wasn't aimed at you haha, just in general

Even if we lose we deserved nothing. As a number 8th seed, we have made number 1st seed sweat. The Habs is a young team, this series is going to be a great learning experiences for a lot of young players. I don't know if you are a Caps fan but you sound bitter and frustrated.

If you don’t think Protas is a game breaker you haven’t been paying attention. I don’t think the Habs have an answer for a player like him. He will have a big impact on the series when he returns.

We will see what the impact will be. Habs were dogshit earlier in the year and he got 4pts in 2 games. Last game we played he went scoreless and -1. Is he that much of a difference maker? Only real game braker on the Caps is Ovi. Mtl has a few.

Cross-checking to the face is still legal. At least Strome thought so.

Not a caps fan. Not bitter/frustrated. Disgusted would be a better word

All I can say is I hope the TV audio feed tomorrow isn’t on a delay like this ridiculous Leafs-Sens game.

Booing an injured player is absurd, it makes no sense. I had read that wilson was coming out of the box after his 10+2 to end the second, not sure if that’s the case but makes a lot more sense

Lol, I left the Caps for the Habs after that choke to Gionta and friends.

On that thought, where can one find a game recap with every stoppage? The goal was scored at 13:23 and the coincidentals were over at 12:00

If there was no whistle between 12:00 and the slaf goal they were certainly booing wilsons return.

If not that, then i don’t know

Edit: Actually there were some fans acting like idiots you're right.

They cheered because Slaf scored, then Bood because Lindgren (former Hab) and Wilson (serving 10 min misconduct) came out.

And you were not starting to like Habs fans lol your post history is public.
