Habs fans were saying he would play like the next coming of Ovi in this series before it had started.Demidov disrespecting ovie ruined any chance Montreal had
Whatever team they want to sway to win, will win 90% of the time.
Stop saying ''Habs fans'' ther's like 3 millions habs fan, me and my friends follow habs for 40 years + and noboby believe Demidov will dominate this serie.Habs fans were saying he would play like the next coming of Ovi in this series before it had started.
Turned out to be de "mid" ov instead!
There was also a blatant trip on McMichael last night that went uncalled, no footage of that online though. The refs aren't the reason why Montreal is down 2-0.
So the refs (who are Canadian btw) are just inexplicably homers for Washington DC? What's the motive here again?
Can't be money. Caps are like the 9th biggest market in hockey. Montreal is 3rd.
Can't be political -- most Canadians are ... not super stoked on Washington DC at the moment.
I guess they're just Ovechkin fanboys. You know how Canadians are always biased in favor of *checks notes* Russian players. Wait, hmmm.
Ok I give up, why are these Canadian refs in the tank for DC?
Demidov looking horrible shift after shift, is ruining a lot of Montreals chances. His skating speed is putrid and his stride is even worse, how can you even fix that?Demidov disrespecting ovie ruined any chance Montreal had
Demidov looked much better when he was separated from Laine in the 3rd period last night. The expectations were probably unrealistic for him in this series but I believe he's going to have a real positive impact from now on, the kid has some true gamebreaking talent (not that he's similar to OV in style of play at all though).Habs fans were saying he would play like the next coming of Ovi in this series before it had started.

Chara and Buff used to be able to knock him down, no monsters like them in the league anymore though.
Yes, they absolutely should've been. 3 people threw punches in that scrum all 3 went to the box. Bad luck for you that it was 2 Canadiens players. This is getting really pathetic. However, the Caps shouldn’t have been on the power play in the first place—
I think he only had 1 shift in the third period and Laine had none.Demidov looked much better when he was separated from Laine in the 3rd period last night. The first video is clearly a trip. However, the Caps shouldn’t have been on the power play in the first place—somehow the Habs ended up with the extra penalty (Guhle, I believe).
The Caps should’ve been hit with two majors (on Caufield and Gally) for those cross-checks, and that floppy clown Wilson absolutely should’ve gotten a penalty for embellishment.
Demidov trip game 1?
The Caps have definitely been getting an armchair ride from the refs—arguing otherwise is just disingenuous.
McMichael footage? Find it.
So ... a conspiracy again! That’s incorrect. It’s about the fans you don’t have in the market. The NHL has 100% adoption in Montreal, whereas in Washington, there’s still room for the league to grow.
The rest of your post is pretty weak.
If you were watching the game last night, you would have seen it. There doesn't appear to be footage of it online, but both ESPN commentators noted it when it happened. The first video is clearly a trip. Please point out one bounce or one win that was "Fortunate". Let's be honest, we both know luck had nothing to do with this. Montreal had one of the top records in the league since December because their young roster is improving faster than people predicted. Nothing supernatural about it.
You got one thing right – their starts have been awful, as we saw in game-1. That's youth and inexperience. It's a weakness that will probably improve with experience, which means you can look forward to more of those magical, fortunate, lucky, flukey wins.
The point is that there are missed calls on both sides.
Which YOU just admitted was the case right now.
You don't get to sit here and be the arbiter of all what is fair or not. You do not have that power nor will the hockey gods ever retroactively change anything.
Grow up. Nothing will ever be fair in life. Not just in hockey. You either suck it up or you go home. Those are facts.

Clearly the refs have missed some calls on both sides, but you're having a laugh or sniffing glue if you genuinely think either of those cross checks are major penalties. Welcome to the playoffs, stop crying.
