I remember seeing him at the Jets development camp last year, he definitely works hard.

I really don't get signing him at this point. The 50 contract limit is going to become an issue for this organization by 2016-17.

No it won't.

People worry about the dumbest things. Like no one will take money so they can reach the cap floor...and Tim Murray can't count to 50.

Odd signing. A year ago he was a 4th line 'enforcer' / healthy scratch as a 19 year old in the OHL for Kingston. Guess he's progressed a lot since being traded.

Dupuy never was given a chance to play an important role in Kingston. He got some PK duties, but mainly he was used as a 4th line checker/fighter. He's just another in a long line of good players who Kingston simply never gave a shot to before giving up on them.

Since his trade to the Soo, he's blossomed into a very useful player. He's defensively strong (as witnessed by the coaches' poll results), is gritty, will stick up for teammates, and has even found a scoring touch. Great leader and character kid, too.

He'll never be a big scorer, but he's got the tools to be a defensively responsible PK bottom six guy.

I'll take it. Sounds like a good guy to have in Rochester in the future, and possibly a role with the big club.

Dupuy's probably been Buffalo's best prospect down on the farm in Rochester thus far, but his upside is still likely limited to a bottom-six defensive forward who can notch the occasional point and PK. He's scored 2+7 and is a +6 through 18 GP on a below average AHL team. He also turned Taormina inside-out the other night during 3v3 for a highlight reel goal:
