Andrei Altybarmakyan's little brother Ilya had a pretty bright MHL debut so far getting 3G+1A in his first 3 games. Hard to tell how much talent is there just by those 3 games, but still thought that this kind of name deserves a thread.

His contract actually got terminated for disciplinary reasons (I guess he was partying too hard at the wrong night or something). If his brother signs with Chicago this offseason, I think he might end up somewhere in the USHL.

Dang I was wondering why he wasnt drafted last season when a lot of lists had him in the 3rd/4th. Assume it was probably character issues then?

Imo, not only, he got good skill and can shoot that puck, but aside from that, I don't know if he got what it takes.

Nope, pretty high I'd say: in Russia his rights are still belonging to the SKA system, it's unlikely that he will return there at least for now. Also his brother is moving to US, so that's an additional factor in favour of it.

Looks like they parted ways with him rather quickly, so back at France's second tier, this time with Mont-Blanc team.
