Would love to see him get more than 7 minutes in KHl. I know that’s unusual.

So is he going to keep going between KHl and MHL all year?

Would love to see him on a line with Michkov when Matvei returns from injury. Those two together would be freakin' nasty.

Well, they will need someone to get the puck on the KHL level. Both are small and not very physical so playing defense can be a problem.

I prefer Buch, very dynamic player at the MHL level last year. Creative, quick, and smart, obviously the offensive IQ is there but he was also killing penalties and the way he was doing so reminded me of a Marner-like impact as a “top-6 winger” on the PK. Good brain for the game for sure.

I was left looking for more from Trikozov in general, although his offensive tools are remarkable. Not the same overall impact on the ice as Buch, who consistently generated positive outcomes and opportunity for his team, in my opinion.

I watched 5-10 games of each last year

Its too early to make conclusions, but Buchelnikov looks legit in KHL. Ofcourse he isn't great 200 foot player, but you don't wait it from him, especially now especially on the KHL level. He thinks fast and makes good and fast decisions in offensive zone, that makes situation more dangerous.

When he gets to Detroit they’ll fix his 200 foot game
