He's a puck pusher even at the ECHL level. He'll play in WBS because that's a barren wasteland, but only as a big hitter. He can knock guys off their skates from surprising positions, I'll give him that.

Never understood why this guy was taken in the 2nd round. Late birthday with shitty 17 year old season production and then just ok 18 year old season production. If you wanna take this type in the 4th or 5th round, then fine. 2nd, no thanks.

He flew out of the gates in the 18-19 season for Seattle and put up 15 points in 7 games before he slowed down and then got hurt and missed most of the season.

Guessing SJ had some scouts at those games and liked the upside of a 6'4 guy that could have a run like that and had a bit of grit to his game as well.
