They couldn't get his name right and then they gave up.

No, really he was just not good enough. He played almost the whole season in the U18 league and usually it means that you're not going to get drafted.

Name should be pronounced as Pri-sya-zh-nyuk. In Russian: Присяжнюк.
It is a ukrainian name.

I look at his statline and the question is not "why wasn't he drafted?", it's "why would he be drafted?".


Being barely able to play at u-20s at u-18 is pretty garbage if you're hoping to become an NHL player. Finnish u-20s are significantly weaker than something like OHL. This would be like drafting an OHL forward with 0.2 PPG.

Fair enough. Seems like a good combo of size and skill tho, even if it's against his age of competition.

I guess we'll see in the future, should have he been drafted or not. I will keep an eye on him anyway.
