Where do you stand on the issue of Henrik Lundqvist winning a cup as a NYR?


Should management do whatever it takes to secure Lundqvist as a NYR for life even if it means:

coaching change/change of playing style
bringing in more offense: UFAs/trades
drafting more offense
PP coach


If his salary requirements are in the 8y/10M range as reported by Brooks should the Rangers just walk away, or seek to trade him if he's non committal, or they get the sense he’ll walk regardless?

What makes you believe that a ground up rebuild (3-5yrs at least) without Lundqvist would make us a SC contender faster than with the moves mentioned above with Lundqvist in net?

Is this a hot-button issue? I am for Lundqvist winning a Cup as a Ranger. Where do you stand on it?

Lundqvist.

There is no reason why this team can't continue to add young talent while still having Lundqvist on the roster.

This roster isn't THAT far. There are a lot of 'ifs" that go into anything. But, if we can keep Staal and some others on the ice, and make some adjustments, there's no reason we can't get farther next season.
