As I reported last week on TodaysSlapshot.com, Vincent Lecavalier is providing the Los Angeles Kings with everything they've asked him to do, so far, anyway.

But what about that guy who came from Philadelphia with him?

That guy, defenseman Luke Schenn, has also filled the role the Kings have given him very well, providing a solid, physical brand of defense they needed.

I feel like McBain is adequate and actually fairly consistent but being a righty makes it tough, and I agree, I've been done with the Ehrhoff adventure for some time now, because every time I think he's turned a corner, he goes and makes a soft play with the puck.

Yeah, I think there's a serious consistency issue with Erhoff. I'm kinda wondering why Gravel hasn't gotten a cup of coffee look.

McBain as a bottom pair guy has been good. I get the LHD RHD issue.

Not sure we have much cap space to do anything else unless we somehow make a miracle move to shed salary.

Dont see us making a callup at this point in the season unless its for injury reasons
