Good, this couldn't last the rest of the year especially if you were unlikely to retain Richardson when the season ended anyways. This isn't a good team by any stretch but they're better than being the worst team in the NHL. And I did not trust Luke to develop players like Nazar correctly when he came up.

To me it's all about developing guys and getting the most out of what you have. He was doing neither. He was doing less with more vs. last season and Bedard regressed this season. It was an easy choice.

Would have rather kept Sorenson down, but happy Richardson is gone. Number 1 priority is development of 98 and it just wasnt happening under LuRich.

Pretty shocked to be honest. But with adding pieces in UFA and them all literally being terrible fits, something had to give I guess. Improvement wasn't there.

Shocked because I didn't think KD had the balls to do it.

Predicting that the Blackhawks hire Drew Bannister as their next head coach…Davidson had interviewed him when he was last looking to hire, recently fired from STL…he was my hope for HC as he had coached both Raddysh and Katchouk in Soo of OHL
Also coached Morgan Frost!!!

Friedman already reporting that Sorensen will see out the year so I wouldn’t get your hopes too high on Bannister

I'm honestly shocked. I figured they would just let him tank this season out and shoot for that #1 overall again. The guy just isn't qualified to coach professional hockey, and you're doing a huge disservice to your young players that ARE here this season by keeping him.

Good riddance you emotionless meathead.

The guy was a complete stiff, never seen someone that stiff behind the bench. I wanted someone to put a mirror under his nose to see if he was breathing.

Be nice after this season ends if we can hire a real coach and stop the Rockford promotion train. Enough, get someone who is proven to know what the hell he is doing.
