Condotta is not a youngster anymore. He is almost 27. He deserves a fair chance to play on the 4th or stay in the NHL as #13 forward.

Condotta is awful and would be a downgrade on Pezzetta. He is slow and isn't particularly good at anything. At least Pezzetta can skate and effectively forecheck.

He is likely there to only replace Anderson if he can't go. He has no future in the NHL and they weren't going to call up a promising prospect to sit in the press box if Anderson can't go.

I remember being puzzled why a 24 year old with underwhelming stats was signed by Hughes, however Condotta has turned out to be a solid depth signing for the organization.

He gets tons of praise for his leadership in Laval and brings a lot of effort on the ice, great leader to have around the kids in Laval.

Since he's soon to be 27 odds are he's likely a career AHLer, but he's a guy who deserves the odd call-up here and there to be rewarded for what he brings to Laval.
