Lub injury updates?

I thought he dived from the first angle, but when they showed it from the side, Hall actually caught him right on the jaw. You can’t see it from the behind angle but his head snaps after that so I’d imagine he was concussed, which is just an incredibly disorienting feeling.
 
I got hit on the jaw on a very similar angle like this years ago in beer league and my jaw has never been the same. Could only open my jaw enough to suck a beer down after the game and it was all swollen on the side.

He’ll be checked by concussion experts and maybe wear a cage next game but I think he’ll be back in

That's what they called it, I've been to masseuse, chiro, acupuncture, osteo... It's still not the same and cracks in and out all the time but less headaches than before all the treatment I would say.

Lub definitely has better access to help then I do lol.

Sorry to hear that. I struggled with it for years.
 
Cheap shot after a hard hit (no penalty). Carlo was on his way to punch out Lybushkin, Hall beat him to the punch (pun intended). Zero Leaf push back, none. I am confused Clifford was dressed to play the power play? play a shut down defensive role? Simmonds has gone soft too. This stuff catches up with you, they will play timid next time in the Garden. Marchand cross checks the captain over and over, no retribution?? I miss Domi, Williams, Clark, McGill, Baumgartner, Tucker, Spencer, Orr, Corson etc.

So you miss losing games to the Bruins because of the need for payback?
 
it was a retaliation and he sucker punched Boosh from behind. If its not at least two games player safety is out to lunch.

I have a feeling neither player will be out long term. maybe a game

It's not a popular thing to bring up because he got injured, but I can't get over that aspect of it. I've watched it over and over and I'm stunned that put him out of the game. I really want to go back and see if something happened to him in the seconds before this because that doesn't look like the type of force that should've done that type of damage.

Slow-mo plus he pulled the punch a bit into a weird ass grab/follow through. But in realtime it was a nice short hook (albeit connecting with the thumb guard rather than the front of the fist) to the jaw and you can see the head twist.

Was unfortunately watching the Bruins feed and they couldn't understand why the play was blown dead. Holl is skating off the ice with blood running down his face after taking a slapshot to the head and they only care that the Bruins could have had a scoring chance on the play. No concern for the player whatsoever

Ya that pissed me off too but when they saw the blood they did a 180 but were still saying too bad for the bruin and some crap like that

I'm guessing a dislocated jaw. Maybe his mouth was open when he got punched and it just popped out.

So, Boosh is knocked out of game, hall gets $5000.00 fine, Boosh ends up with career ending injury from that soft sucker punch, how much money do you think the league has to pay him through a court case or settlement?

I've seen a lot of punches in my life and that has to be the softest one that put someone out like that

I saw the replay and thought he dived. But then he didn't return, so it must have done damage

Yep, Halls not gonna wanna go but that fight needs to happen, il take the instigator penalty and suspension to Simmonds I don’t care.
