It was a masterful game from the 2nd period on. The Capitals got a fluke goal and nothing else. Never threatened the Rangers. They didn't give them any high percentage shots and Ovechkin was completed nullified.

Refs calling weak ones early then ignoring blatant fouls on both clubs for the purposes of what? Game management? Equality?
