Someone...Anyone...Please help us make this happen. We don't want anything for him.

Lou is the most overrated executive anywhere in any NHL front office. Cares more about players having low numbers, trading 1st rounders for average talent, not announcing team signings, and facial hair then he does actually building a winner.

If Trotz didn't accept the only head coaching job on the market when he was let go by the Caps back in 2018, this Islander season is what you would've been seeing the last 7 seasons.

Help us...We're dying over here.

Look here you hippy, ima need yiu to stop criticizing the boss- yur paid to forecheck, don’t go thinking no thoughts now. Go on, git, grind this good game of hockey into mud!

A tale of two Lou's. The difference between his performance as a hockey executive before the '04-'05 lockout and after the '04-'05 lockout is pretty wild.

I personally believe he would have made a pitch for JT miller if it wasn't for the not so good history between him and Bo Horvat. There wasn't much when he got there, and some of us guys are under performing compared to last year, (Barzal, Dobson) maybe's the coaching but who knows.

What’s crazy is the Devils were always on a very tight budget before the cap so you’d think he would have been the most prepared GM to handle a cap.
Officially yes, but Lou was also paying guys behind the scenes. In brodeur's autobiography he talks about how Lou would give players cash bonuses of $1000 per player if the team got a shutout, $500 if they allowed 1 goal, and $250 if the team allowed 2 goals. That is super illegal under the current CBA and is likely just one of Lou's secret payment plans.
